Welcome to the Holy Trinity charity concert series. This series of Sunday evening concerts runs throughout the year from September to July, providing an enjoyable way to raise money for charity. Normally taking place on the second Sunday of each month, all concerts start at 6.30 and last for about an hour, with refreshments served after.
The concert series combines recitals from professional musicians with accomplished performances from local musicians. For our 2008-9 season we are pleased to announce a wide spectrum of choice. We start the season by welcoming the Oxford Spezzati Soloists and Orchestra who will be performing Vaughan Williams Serenade to Music and Bach Magnificat. There will be a chance to hear Purcell's Dido and Aeneas and professional solo recitals given by Tom Poster on Piano and Manuel Minguillon on renaissance lute and vihuela.
New to the concert series is an alternative evening of Jazz and wine in the CMI and Thames Voyces are back by popular demand with music for a summer's evening. We conclude the concert series with our Gala concert, where our own church choir will be performing Vivaldi's Gloria.
