Holy Trinity Charity Concert Series

Welcome to the Holy Trinity charity concert series. This series of Sunday evening concerts runs throughout the year from September to July, providing an enjoyable way to raise money for charity. Normally taking place on the second Sunday of each month, all concerts start at 6.30 and last for about an hour, with refreshments served after.

The concert series combines recitals from professional musicians with accomplished performances from local musicians. Following a sucessful 2008-9 season we are pleased to announce some new performers alongside returning musicians, by popular demand. The season starts with Michel Kallipetris giving a recital of song. Other local musicians include Holy Trinity’s Church Choir with an evening of Mendelssohn to celebrate his 200th birthday, musicians from Ranelagh School and a Christmas spectacular hosted by Holy Trinity’s very own Reverend, David Uffindell.

Continuing the popular alternative evenings, we are pleased to welcome back The Leonie Hamway Band for 'Jazz and Wine' in the CMI in January and, building on its success, we are introducing an evening of 'Folk music and Beer' for our May event. The Oxford Spezatti Soloists and Orchestra will be returning in April and we are introducing a 'family friendly concert' with a performance of Rutter's Wind in the Willows. Other professional recitals include Johan de Cock on Piano with a programme of Bach and a concert of baroque gems in June.

Finally, we are delighted that Accord is available to round off our concert series with a selection of vocal sacred music from Rachmaninov to Matt Redman.
